Do you feel like things are becoming worse around the world? Or that there are more people with extremist views? Or that societies across the world are becoming more and more divided? Well none of these perspectives are an accurate representation of the world. Actually, things are improving globally, it is just that your way of consuming information has some major flaws.

The biggest reason why you might feel this way is due to the fact that social media incentives extremist ideas and negative news.
